The forum of the castles held by GWY was entrusted the implementation of the civil programmed events called "The 480th anniversary of the construction of Ogaki castle" by Ogaki city government. On July 20 the forum titled "Why are people fascinated with the castles in Japan and overseas?" at the memorial hall of the final place of Okuno Hosomichi Memorial Hall. The number of audience reached 130 over the capacity of the hall. The lecturer Ryusho Hirose the member of Ogaki city cultural properties protection Association gave explanation of the characteristics and charms based on his abundant knowledge and visits to castles. Mr. Haruhiko Kato the vice-president of GWY performed the show of Iai, drawing his sword swiftly from sitting position and slash with his real sword and then he gave explanation of the history of Japanese sword. 14 students from Hong Kong College took part in the event dressed in Japanese traditional costume.
