Since the foundation of GWY in 1982 it has engaged in various of activities such as accepting delegations composed of the youth and leaders from abroad under the auspice of the ministry of foreign affairs and education and technology, supporting the youth training programs prepared by JICA, helping with the education programs by Japan Foundation, sending the youth to foreign countries by WYVEA, mutual exchange program with Canadian Cultural Society.
The purpose of these activities are to developing global comprehension and friendship as we coordinate with many different organizations in Japan and other counties.
GWY has organized Multi Cultural Forum Part 2, for which we invite Peter Collins, Zivile Jomantaite, Coordinator for International Relations, Gifu pref. Government Miyamoto Leonard for Coordinator for International Relations, Gifu International Center, Salam, Sidel, Foreign students of Hirano Gakuen. They talk about the state of affairs of their home countries, the UK, Lithuania, Brazil, and Bangladesh and answer the questions and views from the audience. GWY hopes this session will help to look back international exchange activities affected by COVID 19 and deepen the mutual cultural understanding.
